Pittsburgh Powers Golf
You can’t go wrong by starting your PA golf trip in Pittsburgh, home to past major championships and The Bob O’Connor Golf Course at Schenley Park. You’ll have to stretch a little outside the city center and head over to the two courses at South Park Golf Course in South Park or to Riverview Golf Course in Elizabeth. \
Don’t miss Grand View Golf Club in Braddock and the highly-rated Scenic Valley Golf Course in Finleyville. This championship course has garnered accolades in multiple top-100 golf course listings in the country.
Bouncing further outside the city to the north and east, you’ll find golf in the wilds of the state. Scottish Heights Golf Club in Brockport and Bavarian Hills Golf Course in Saint Marys offer high-rated courses. There’s more in Du Bois at the DuBois Country Club and two courses at Treasure Lake. Catch The Back Roads Golf
The best way to play golf in upstate Pennsylvania is hitting the links in communities near larger towns such as Scranton. Scranton Hills Municipal Golf Course is in Mount Cobb while Pine Hills Country Club in Taylor offers 18- and 9-hole courses. You can add in Summit Hills Golf Club in Clarks Summit or Emanon Country Club in Falls.
Making your way south to Allentown, you’ll find Allentown Municipal/Benner Fairways Golf Course and Iron Lakes Golf Course. Nearby Wedgewood Golf Club in Coopersburg offers three highly-rated 9-hole courses. Locus Valley Golf Club here is rated as one of the best courses in the nation in several listings.
Press on to 18- and 9-hole links at Bethlehem Golf Club and Green Pond Golf Course in Bethlehem. There’s also the Southmoore Golf Course in Bath and Fox Hollow Golf Club in Quakertown.

Heading into The City of Brotherly Love, you’ll want to make sure to bring a few extra sleeves of balls for Juniata Golf Course, the two courses at Cobbs Creek Golf Club and Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Club.
