Peach State Adventure Golf

Golfing in Georgia can be a whirlwind experience for golfers wanting to connect with golf traditions and the wonders of modern course designs. Georgia boasts the big-city bustle while honoring the endearing qualities of small-town life. Add in the mountain and coastal destinations, and your golf trip through Georgia offers all that’s needed for the adventurous golfer. While there’s no hope of sneaking in a round at Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Tournament, you can get close. From there the golfing possibilities are seemingly endless in the Peach State. Pack your essentials and let the trail of golf through Georgia guide your trip.

Urban Golf And More

Golfers can enjoy golf almost all year long in Atlanta which is the home of legendary golfer Bobby Jones. He played golf for love of the game, and golfers will love the availability of public course in all parts of the city. Alfred “Tup” Holmes Golf Club and North Fulton Golf Course lead the way for public access. Two challenging courses at Stonemount Golf Club will test your skills and provide plenty of fun for any family members tagging along.

Outside the city, Athens boasts the public University of Georgia Golf Course. Add Double Oaks Golf Club and the three courses at The Georgia Club to test your stamina. Lane Creek Golf Club and Jennings Mill Country Club round out Athens’ links.

Moving south from the metropolis, it’s best to wait on partaking of all the good grub until after you’ve put the clubs away. Golf in Macon includes Oakview Golf & Country Club, Bowden Golf Course and Pine Oaks Golf Course at Robins Air Force Base. Nearby are the three courses at Southern Landings Golf Club. Take on Barrington Hall Golf Club and then its barbecue time.

Top Shelf Golf

All golfers need to take on courses in the North Georgia Mountains. Fees range from very affordable to don’t tell the spouse at the resort courses. Kick things off with Sky Valley Country Club then off to Inssbruck Golf Club before Cateechee Golf Club. The Links at Lake Taccoa and Mossy Creek Golf Club will round out the fresh mountain air.Golf Range Netting Custom Service

Historic Coastal Golf

Historic Savannah is calling along with an array of coastal courses. Start off with one of the gems of Georgia and this historic city, The Club at Savannah Harbor. Three courses at Bacon Park Golf Course will inspire you before closing Savanna on Hunter Golf Course and the Savannah Country Club.

Head down the coast to enjoy the Golden Isles. You’ll find four courses at Jekyll Island Golf Club, three more at Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort and Heritage Oaks Golf Club. These will wear you out before soaking in the coastal landscape at one of the many watering holes.

Augusta Wraps Up Georgia

It’s worth a drive to try to get a peek of Augusta National before “settling” for the dang near as wonderful Forest Hills Golf Club. Extend your enjoyment with links at The First Tee of Augusta and The River Golf Club. As a golfer, a trip to Augusta is bucket list worthy. Ace Golf Netting knows that any golfer who takes on the adventure of Georgia golf will head home with many stories to weave at their local 19th hole.
